Jace Broadhurst
Senior Pastor
Jace grew up in Rockville MD and serves as Senior Pastor of this wonderful church. He has his M.Div from Reformed Theological Seminary and his PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary. He loves the academy and is adjunct professor of Nyack College and Columbia Evangelical Seminary. In addition to the United States, Jace has taught seminary in the Netherlands, Trinidad, Uganda, and Kenya and plans to continue to make this a regular part of his ministry. But even more than the academy, he loves pastoring this church. He desperately wants to see this community transformed so that it is most satisfied in Christ. He hopes that the gospel will grow in the hearts of his congregation and will flow over into Poolesville and Beyond. In addition to this ministry and no less significant is his family. He loves spending time with his wife and three boys, riding bikes, playing games, and having all out sword and gun battles throughout the neighborhood.
Kyle Broady
Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries
Kyle serves as the Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries at Poolesville Baptist Church. Kyle oversees the music, youth and children’s ministries at PBC, and is very excited to be serving with God’s people in this flock. His passion is to see this church become a shining light for the glory of Christ in the community of Poolesville,in all of Montgomery County, in the greater DC area, and the whole
world. Kyle obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Music with an emphasis in Music Education from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Following that, he and his wife moved to Missouri where he taught vocal music in the Kansas City Public Schools. Once receiving the call to ministry, he entered the Divinity program at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is currently pursuing his Masters Degree with an emphasis in Christian Education. Kyle is delighted to be married to his college sweetheart, Sarah, and is proud to be father to his three boys, Benjamin, Samuel, and Joshua.
Reneta A. Funk
Office Manager
Reneta has served PBC since 2009 as our office manager and has attended PBC since 1997. She loves to use her gifts and talents to serve the Lord and help others. She currently lives in Beallsville and has one grown daughter Ashley.
