Community Groups are about relationships, growth, family, rest, encouragement, accountability… you might say it is one main place to do what a family does, or better, what a family should do. We have several (largely) neighborhood-based, intergenerational Community Groups that meet 2-4 times each month.  During these times, the groups will spend time reading and discussing Scripture, praying for one another and the community, and enjoy times of fellowship.

Our current group offerings include:

  • Seneca Chase – Sunday afternoons
  • Dickerson – Sunday evenings
  • Tama/Brightwell – Tuesday evenings
  • Westerly – Tuesday evenings
  • Rockville/Gaithersburg – Wednesday evenings
  • Beallsville – Thursday evenings
  • Stoney Springs – Saturday evenings
  • Westerly – Saturday evenings

Contact Pastor Joel to be connected to a Community Group.  You can also click the appropriate icon to the below to download the My Church Home app (once downloaded, search for Poolesville Baptist).

We are always looking to create new groups to meet the current needs of our church family.

If you have more questions about the groups, please call the office at 301-349-4090.

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

~2 Peter 1:5-8 ESV

We exist to show who Jesus really is and to help everyone find their hope and delight in him.
